• Can I change my order?

  If you have placed an order and have not yet been sent and approved your artproof, you can contact us to change your order. If you have already approved your artwork chances are it is already in production and you wont be able to change or cancel your order.

  If you have already approved your artwork and are wanting to add to your order, you need to get in touch with us within 8 hours of approval. That way we can check the status of your order first, then make sure your additional decals are posted all together for you.

• Installation Instructions

  Before you unleash the A Creative Hart Decal magic, let's show your walls some love and prep them for their wonderful transformation.

  
  

  Cleaning & Installation

  Use a warm damp sponge or microfibre cloth to clean your wall surface, window or mirror. Allow it to completely dry.

  Make sure all other cleaning solutions are gone. Your decal will repel if there are traces of cream cleansers ( like Jif ) on your wall.

  
  

  Choosing your Wall

  Ensure your wall or surface is smooth, dry and clean. If you are placing your decals on a newly painted wall, ensure that your wall surface has been primed prior to painting ( If not your decal could come off ).

  Please note: PhotoTex is not recommended for use on textured surfaces, paints containing teflon, washable paints (see more information below), paint without a base layer of quality primer or paint that is flaking or in need of repair.

  
  

  Paints

  PhotoTex is not recommend for application on washable paints manufactured by any brand, or with any name containing Wash and Wear. “Wash and wear” or “washable” paints contain an additive that acts as a repellent to the adhesive. In Australia, these paints are commonly known as “wash and wear” paints. Multiple Australian and international brands stock these “stain resistant”, “washable”, "wipe clean" products.  We advise our consumers to ALWAYS check the paint type used on their walls before purchasing our product.

  
  

  Both we, and our customers have found that our smaller decals will adhere to “wash and wear” or washable paints, however we make no guarantees. Due to the heavier weight of wallpaper and large arch decals, we NEVER recommend applying our wallpaper or large arch decals to washable paints. 

  
  

  Important consideration: Renters should be especially cautious and note the points above, given that they may not have prepared and painted the walls themselves.
